Phone & SMS Policy
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
This Phone & SMS Policy explains how Idaho Gun School may communicate with customers, prospective customers, and other individuals by telephone call, text message (SMS), or multimedia message (MMS).
Throughout this Policy, “Idaho Gun School,” “IGS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to IDAHO GUN SCHOOL, LLC doing business as Idaho Gun School.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Providing Your Telephone Number
When you provide a telephone number to Idaho Gun School, you represent that the number you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide and use that number.
Providing a telephone number does not automatically constitute consent to receive all categories of telephone or text-message communications.
Where consent is legally required for a particular type of communication, Idaho Gun School will seek that consent separately.
2. Non-Marketing Communications
If you provide your telephone number in connection with an inquiry, registration, purchase, appointment, course, or existing customer relationship, Idaho Gun School may use the number to communicate with you about that interaction where permitted by law.
Non-marketing communications may include:
Responses to inquiries;
Registration confirmations;
Appointment or course confirmations;
Scheduling information;
Reminders;
Changes to a scheduled service;
Customer-service communications;
Payment or transaction-related communications;
Account or registration information; and
Other communications reasonably necessary to administer a service you requested.
Where required by applicable law or carrier rules, we will obtain appropriate consent before sending automated or application-generated messages.
3. Marketing and Promotional Communications
Idaho Gun School may offer customers and website visitors the opportunity to consent to marketing or promotional telephone or text-message communications.
Marketing communications may include information about:
New or upcoming services;
Special offers or promotions;
Events;
Educational programs;
Business updates; and
Other Idaho Gun School marketing communications permitted by applicable law and messaging-provider rules.
Where prior express written consent is required by law, Idaho Gun School will obtain that consent before sending applicable automated marketing calls or text messages.
Consent to receive marketing calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Idaho Gun School.
4. Separate SMS Consent
Where Idaho Gun School offers both marketing and non-marketing SMS communications, the consent choices may be presented separately.
You may be able to consent to:
Non-Marketing Messages — such as scheduling, registration, customer-service, or transaction-related communications.
Marketing Messages — such as promotions, special offers, service announcements, or other promotional communications.
Selecting one category does not automatically constitute consent to the other category.
SMS consent options should not be preselected, and you are not required to consent to marketing messages in order to submit a general website form or purchase a service.
5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with Idaho Gun School and the types of communications to which you have consented.
For example, transactional communications may occur when necessary to administer an inquiry, registration, appointment, or service.
Marketing message frequency may vary based on available promotions, programs, or business updates.
Idaho Gun School does not guarantee a specific number of messages unless a particular messaging program expressly states otherwise.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to text messages sent to or received from Idaho Gun School.
Charges are determined by your wireless carrier and mobile-service plan.
Idaho Gun School is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
If you have questions regarding your text-message or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
7. How to Opt Out of SMS Messages
You may revoke your consent to receive recurring SMS messages at any time.
To stop text messages from an Idaho Gun School messaging program, reply:
STOP
Where supported, other commonly recognized opt-out requests may also be honored.
After receiving a valid opt-out request, we may send a single confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed.
After your opt-out request has been processed, you will no longer receive messages from the applicable messaging program except as otherwise permitted or required by law.
If you later want to receive SMS messages again, you may opt in again through an available Idaho Gun School consent process.
8. Help With SMS Messages

9. Revoking Consent by Other Means
You may also communicate a request to stop marketing communications using another reasonable method, including contacting Idaho Gun School directly.
We will honor legally valid revocation requests in accordance with applicable law.
Please provide enough information for us to identify the telephone number and communication preference associated with your request.
10. Telephone Calls
Idaho Gun School may call telephone numbers provided by prospective or current customers for legitimate business purposes, including responding to inquiries, administering registrations, providing customer service, and conducting other communications permitted by law.
Marketing or telemarketing calls will be made only where Idaho Gun School has the consent required by applicable law.
Where applicable, Idaho Gun School will maintain and honor requests not to receive future marketing telephone calls.
You may request that Idaho Gun School place your telephone number on its internal marketing do-not-call list.
11. Automated Technology
Some telephone or text-message communications may be sent using automated systems, customer relationship management software, scheduling software, or other communications technology.
Where applicable law requires consent based on the technology used or the nature of the communication, Idaho Gun School will seek the required consent.
Providing your telephone number alone does not waive any consent right provided by applicable law.
12. Sender Identification
Initial outbound text messages should clearly identify Idaho Gun School as the sender unless the identity of the sender is already apparent from an ongoing conversation.
This helps recipients understand who is contacting them and why.
Where required by the applicable messaging platform or carrier, sender-identification information may be automatically added to messages.
13. Wireless Carrier Responsibility
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message delivery depends on factors outside Idaho Gun School’s control, including carrier availability, network conditions, device settings, filtering systems, and service interruptions.
Idaho Gun School does not guarantee that every telephone call or text message will be successfully delivered or received.
14. Mobile Information and SMS Consent
Idaho Gun School does not sell, rent, or transfer mobile telephone information or SMS consent information to third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Service providers that support Idaho Gun School’s communications, customer service, technology, or business operations may process mobile information only as reasonably necessary to provide those services and subject to applicable law and contractual requirements.
15. Consent Is Specific to Idaho Gun School
Consent provided to Idaho Gun School authorizes communications from Idaho Gun School for the purposes disclosed when consent is obtained.
We do not interpret consent given to Idaho Gun School as blanket permission for unrelated businesses to contact you.
We also do not purchase lists of telephone numbers with purported SMS consent for use in Idaho Gun School marketing campaigns.
16. Reassigned or Disconnected Telephone Numbers
If you stop using a telephone number that you previously provided to Idaho Gun School, please notify us when reasonably practical.
Telephone numbers may be reassigned by wireless carriers to new users.
Idaho Gun School may use commercially reasonable measures intended to identify disconnected or reassigned numbers and reduce the likelihood of contacting an unintended recipient.
A recipient who receives communications intended for a previous user of the number should contact us or reply STOP where appropriate.
17. Telephone Call Recording
Idaho Gun School may record certain telephone calls for quality assurance, training, documentation, security, or customer-service purposes where permitted by applicable law.
Idaho law generally permits recording when at least one party to the communication has consented.
However, callers and recipients may be located in jurisdictions with different recording-consent requirements.
Where notice or additional consent is required by applicable law, Idaho Gun School will seek to provide the required notice or obtain the required consent before recording.
18. Emergency Communications
Idaho Gun School’s telephone and text-message systems are not emergency communication services.
Do not rely on an Idaho Gun School telephone number, text-message conversation, website form, voicemail, or automated messaging system to communicate an emergency or obtain emergency assistance.
If you are experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
19. Messaging Provider and Carrier Restrictions
Telephone and text-message services may be provided through independent communications platforms, telecommunications providers, or wireless carriers.
Those providers may impose their own acceptable-use policies, registration requirements, content restrictions, filtering rules, or other conditions.
Idaho Gun School will not knowingly use SMS or MMS messaging in a manner prohibited by the applicable communications provider, carrier, or law.
The availability of SMS or MMS communication for a particular purpose may therefore change depending on provider and carrier requirements.
20. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with telephone or SMS communications is handled in accordance with the Idaho Gun School Privacy Policy.
SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.
For additional information regarding how Idaho Gun School collects, uses, and protects personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
21. No Guarantee of Continuous Messaging Service
Idaho Gun School may modify, suspend, or discontinue a telephone or SMS messaging program at any time.
Changes may result from business needs, communications-provider requirements, carrier policies, changes in law, technical limitations, or other operational circumstances.
The availability of text messaging does not guarantee that Idaho Gun School will offer SMS communication for every course, service, or customer interaction.
22. Changes to This Policy
Idaho Gun School may update this Phone & SMS Policy periodically to reflect changes in communications practices, technology, carrier requirements, messaging-provider policies, or applicable law.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
