Self Defense Instructor
Kimberly Mills is a skilled instructor with extensible experience in both Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With a passion for self-defense and personal growth, Kimberly has spent the last 13 years training, competing, and teaching in these disciplines.
As a certified 1st Dan black belt with Krav Maga Worldwide, Kimberly focuses on practical, real-world techniques designed to neutralize threats quickly and effectively. Krav Maga’s direct approach to self-defense prepares students for dangerous situations, from armed attackers to physical confrontations with multiple assailants. Kimberly is committed to helping students develop confidence, situational awareness, and the skills necessary to protect themselves in any environment.
In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kimberly holds a black belt, awarded in November 2024 by Mel and Sam Campanella of 208 Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Kimberly began training under the legendary in Jean Jacques Machado and earned her brown belt in 2019. Specializing in both gi and no-gi techniques, Kimberly has a deep understanding of leverage, submissions, and positional control. This focus on technique over strength enables students of all levels to control and submit opponents, regardless of size or strength. Kimberly fosters an environment where students are encouraged to refine their skills and push their boundaries, whether they’re new to the sport or experienced competitors.
With a strong emphasis on both mental and physical preparedness, Kimberly instills discipline, resilience, and respect in all students. Whether in group classes or one-on-one coaching, she ensures that each student can grow, gain confidence, and improve their abilities both on and off the mat.
Kimberly continues to advance in both Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, staying up-to-date with the latest training methods to offer the most effective instruction. Outside of training she enjoys listening to podcasts, exploring the great outdoors, and firearms training
